Near East Consulting recently conducted a survey about the attitude of the Palestinian people over the death news of Al-Qaida leader, Osama Bin Laden. One survey showed that 64 percent of respondents expressed no objection if bin Laden's body was buried in Palestine.
As reported, the U.S. managed to kill Bin Laden claims, dispose of the bodies of al-Qaeda leader into the sea. While the countries of Saudi Arabia, the country of origin Bin Laden, reportedly refused to accept bin Laden's body if his body was handed over to the Arabia.
Another survey results released by Palestinian Media Watch showed, 85 percent of respondents in Palestine believed that Al-Qaeda would avenge the death of Bin Laden, 86 percent of respondents said that Bin Laden's death would not be reducing the threat of terrorism in the world, 56 percent of respondents claimed to believe that Bin Ladin were killed and 44 percent of respondents believe Bin Laden is still alive.
42 percent of respondents rated the Al-Qaeda will be stronger after the death of Bin Laden, only 22 percent who believe Al-Qaeda will be weakened. While 36 percent of respondents said that Bin Laden's death would not change the situation in the world.
The survey was conducted on 633 respondents Palestinians over the age of 18 years, who lived in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem. (Ln / PMW)
